Biography Dr. Jorge Galvan MD Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Galvan has studied General Medicine in Mexico and went after 9 years Residence training program in General and Plastic Surgery in Europe, living in France, Switzerland and England during all this time.
He was at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Saint Antoine University Hospital in Paris, at the Centre Hospitaliere Universitaire Vaudois in Lausanne Switzerland and at Mount Vernon Hospital and London College University Hospital in England.
He trained before attending this Prestigious Plastic Surgery Units 3 years in General Surgery and Microsurgery at la Timone University Hospital in Marseille France. Once he finished this 9 years of Surgery training period in Europe he returned to Mexico where he was one of the first Surgeons to create the Plastic Ambulatory Surgery principles and Microsurgery in the Mexican Republic.
At his return in Mexico from Europe he founded the first Ambulatory Plastic Surgery Clinic in the State of Chihuahua Mexico, receiving patients since then from North of Mexico and the United States.
He was Professor in Surgery at the Medical School of the University of Chihuahua Mexico during 10 years and Founding Member of CIMA International Hospital which is one of the best private Hospitals in Mexico. Dr. Galvan has been awarded as a Member of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons, the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS) and the Mexican Association on Plastic Surgeon and full board Certified by the Mexican Council of Plastic Surgery.
